Casket

The "aggressive casket sprinted to a musty sheep" to go get the alive sheep corps. The aggressive casket did not get to take a brake because the musty sheep was so fast. As the musty sheep runs through town the casket says "I cant take it anymore". So the aggressive casket sits down by the cemetery and there he meets a fellow aggressive casket who was also very exhausted from chasing a musty sheep. The fellow casket said, "he got you too." The aggressive casket replied back, "hell yea." So both caskets sit there at the cemetery and just cry until they decide to forget the sheep and live life.

Cardboard Critique

My cardboard that was supposed to be a rock turned out ok. I got a lot of good feed back. I could have improved or did a better job covering my wholes as Mr. Davenport pointed out but it was not a major problem where it took away from the piece it self. I was a little uneasy when we got to my table and he said my name. Although he did it was criticism that was constructive and I was able to handle. Also he and the class thought that I made a good decision by laying the flat side downward so you could not see it because that was not my strongest part of the rock.

Critque

My group was very nice but yet critical on my circles and squares. I  very much appreciate that this way I wont go around thinking that I am good and all that jazz and I am really not. They told me that it had the clear meaning and it was obvious especially with the playful piece. WHich they also said was my strongest but with my orderly it was a little difficult perhaps i add some strips of white to show what it is.  Once again I am happy that my group tol me things I could use to help me better myself!

final 2

I have my final 2 but I cant seem to get the pictures to work!!

ROCK!!!

My rock is starting to transform. I am starting to be proud of it !!! Through this process I have been freestyling. Each day there is something new to do to it or a better or more efficient way to make it more like the real deal!

FINAL 4

These are the final four!! I feel that these are my strongest ones. But who knows in the mist I might get a new image in my head and one or two might change!

Squares

These are my 14playful and 14 orderly. I really like doing the orderly but the playful was but of a challenge in a way. But nothing that I couldn't do. I do like doing the squares better than the circles. Maybe because when I look at a circle or a black circle at that I see me getting lost in it like it is a black whole!!

Reading Assingments

I am not much of a reader unless it is a romance book or a suspense story. So it took me a minute get caught on to the reading assignment. But it was interesting and it showed me more of a deeper meaning to my art. How you should tell someone or critique them about their work without just saying I don't like it. In the reading it tells you how and you should give a more in depth and intelligent critique on another persons art. You should be able to justify your answer. Not just saying because its just is.

Rock vs Cardboard

This is when I had to find another way to bend my cardboard and keep it bent because spraying it with water so that it would do what I want didn't solve the problem only for a couple hours. It was really difficult to get it bent and stay bent. I was really fustrated but as i kept on trying different kind of methods finally one worked which was bending it with my hands like crumbling it up!!

Rock vs Cardboard

Well, my cardboard experience was cool I really liked this project for some reason not really sure. Maybe because I got to cut things up and challenge myself. I usually am scared to challenge myself and try something new because I am afraid of failure. With this I had a few failures with my game plans and it was irritating like I guess it is with many artist when trying to accomplish a goal. But I didn't give up! But I cant wait to see the ending result because each day something new comes about and I change the plan some or as football player will call it an audible.

My dots

My circle or dots experience was something. Once again was not really sure what we were going to accomplish but as I read the readings that where posted I caught the gist of the whole idea. I can not say I had a ball coloring circles but it was cool. My critique that I received from my fellow art lovers and classmates was very true or accurate. They pointed out that I had  not did  a lot of big dots or circles in my drawings. What I would say the reason or possible reason for that is one of two things. One is that the big circles to longer and more sharpie to fill in. Two is that I am not a big on big things. I see the big circles as me being noticed and standing out. Also my classmates mentioned that I used the small circles sparingly. In some ways I can see what they say but sparingly was little difficult for me because I thought I had less negative space unless I interpreted their critique the wrong way. Also there was a counter judgment with that another said that a lot of space instead a decent amount. But loved hearing everything that each classmate had to say that way I can grow and develop at what I do best. There was one last one that almost contradicts its self was that I had similar sizes but variety. I assume they may almost all be the same size but it is something about them that makes it a variety.
